Yacutinga Lodge

An environmentally friendly lodge and Private Wildlife Nature Reserve located in the heart of the Argentinean Rainforest, surrounded by the Iguazú National Park.
The Wildlife & Nature Reserve area, which covers 570 hectares (1.408 acres), is part of the 270.000 hectares (666.900 acres) of Protected Rainforest; shared by Brazil and Argentina and known as the "green corridor". Yacutinga Wildlife & Nature Reserve still maintains richness in bio-diversity, far away from massive tourism concentration. You can enjoy diverse out-door activities with a soft adventure and eco-tourism focus, such as; floating, bird-watching or hiking which will provide you with a variety of information unlocking the mysteries and peculiarities of the Rainforest.
The Lodge offers you 20 comfortable and originally designed suites. Common areas such as a Restaurant, Bars, pool, all of them in perfect balance with the surrounding nature.

1st Day: At 02:00pm transfer from Raices Argentinas (Argentina) - in modern vans travelling through Urugua-I Provincial Park and rural areas of Yerba mate plantations.
In the 145km distance covered along a paved road the landscape combines small towns and Forest.
During this trip, the Guide will explain the environmental problems of the region and the importance of Natural Areas Conservation.
Arrival at the Lodge, reception, room distribution. Dinner.
Night walk through the Forest at night.
Day 2 Early in the morning Boating along the San Francisco stream, which flows into the Natural Reserve. This is the right moment for a photo-safari and general fauna observation. Sailing lasts almost 3 hours, silently going through the Gallery forest area. Back to the Lodge at mid-morning. Lunch.
Free time to walk along the several self-guided interpretation trails or simply to enjoy the facilities of the Lodge (swimming pool, observation towers, hanging walkway, Visitors center, etc.).
Interpretative walks in the afternoon, conducted by expert guides who provide good information on the several natural environments, their Flora and Fauna. Back to the Lodge. Dinner.
Day 3 Breakfast and free time to explore some of our self-guided interpretation trails, or simply enjoy the Lodge area. Brunch at the Lodge and return to Iguazú port by land at mid-morning. Arrival estimated at 1:00 p.m.
