Rogério Pedro creates diverse work in a variety of media and genres, including panels, canvases, digital art, scenography,
the customization of objects and mural painting, which was the first type of artistic expression he had contact with in 1992, in the city of São Paulo.
His work is influenced by the Modernist Movement and its various ramifications, particularly Cubism. It uses the language of the deconstruction of shapes and volumes, through figurative paintings, a vast palette of colours, tones and sensibility, with a unique and striking identity.
His art has already been exhibited in São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Porto Alegre, Bahia, Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Vienna and Argentina. He has published works in New York, France and Spain – and also has paintings in private collections in Brazil, San Francisco, New York, Miami and Bogotá. Rogério has also worked with established musical artists like Margareth Menezes and Sandra de Sá, and collaborates with several NGOs such as Instituto Mano Down, Acesa Capuava and Instituto Anelo.
