Air Europa Expands Connections: New Flight Frequency Between Salvador and Madrid

Picture: Divulgação / Air Europa Starting June 17, Air Europa will increase its service to three weekly flights from Salvador to Madrid. Currently, there are two flights, on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 10:55 PM from Salvador, and from Madrid at 3:25 PM. The new addition will be on Mondays.

Gonzalo Romero, the general director in Brazil, cites increased demand as the reason for the new frequency, after average occupancies above 90% in 2023. The route, operated by the Boeing 787 Dreamliner, offers comfort and environmental performance.

Operating for 20 years, the Salvador-Madrid route has an average occupancy of 81%, with more than 1.1 million passengers on 5,000 flights. From Madrid, connections are offered to major European destinations. For more information, visit the Air Europa website.
