Our assessment of Novotel Salvador Rio Vermelho is positive: the lively atmosphere of Rio Vermelho is one of its main strengths, the view is among the best in the area, and the rooms offer an excellent balance of space and comfort. The 203-room property sits in Salvador's most bohemian district and is undergoing a partial renovation as part of a wider repositioning toward a premium offer.

Fasano Salvador: Authenticity That Money Cannot Standardize

Fasano Salvador is the hotel we would recommend first to clients who want to discover the history of Salvador through authentic art and architecture rather than a standardized luxury experience. It is the only property of its category in the city, housed in a restored historic building on Praca Castro Alves. For 45 years the building was the headquarters of the newspaper A Tarde, and today it is recognized as Cultural Heritage of Bahia.
